HOW YOU CAN HELP

Forgo one cup of coffee a week and donate the money you save. For only $5.00 a month you can help bring a library to another community. The Assistance to Libraries Fund (ALF) is one of the few library and information based organizations that specifically assists libraries in developing countries and in First Nations communities in BC.

Anyone interested in advancing education, knowledge, skills and enriching the lives of children, youth and other members of a community especially in developing countries and poorer communities here in BC will find that ALF has the expertise and experience to ensure any monies donated will be well utilized for the benefit of the recipient communities.

How to Donate

Donations can also be made directly to the BCLA office making special reference to LAB or ALF. On the BCLA web site, you will see the link “Donate to BCLA” on the upper right hand corner. Tax Receipt

You will receive a tax receipt and regular updates by e-mail or mail on the projects LAB-ALF has funded.
