250 Incentive Grant Program Selection Criteria

1. Applicant is from the 250 Telephone Area Code or the Sunshine Coast:

	Regions:
	Central	North Coast
	Kootenay, East	Okanagan
	Kootenay, West	West Peace River
	Islands	Sunshine Coast
	North Central

2. Grant encourage and foster regional library continuing education sessions for library personnel and volunteers.

3. Staff meetings, patron workshops and workshops limited to staff members do not qualify.

4. Sessions provide library continuing education in the recipient’s region.

5. Application was on time.

6. Applicant is a BCLA member or belongs to a BCLA institutional member.

7. When evaluating grant applications, attention will be paid to equitable division of grants throughout the province.

8. Session reaches as wide an audience as possible.

9. Session provides continuing education opportunities where they might not otherwise be available.
