250 Grant Recipient Responsibilities

  1. BCLA CE Committee is listed as a co-sponsor of the session in all promotional materials.
  2. Sessions must be promoted and opened to all BCLA members, particularly to members in the local region.
  3. Applicant must be a BCLA member or belong to a BCLA member institution.
  4. CE Committee Liaison receives a copy of all publicities.
  5. Information on the session is posted on the BCLA listserv and Web site.
  6. BCLA members will receive a minimum of a 25% discount if a fee is charged for the session.
  7. Session must be completed within eight months after applicant has been informed of successful application.
  8. Provision of the following to the CE liaison after completion of the session:
    1. Brief expenditure statement
    2. Number of attendees
    3. Evaluation of Incentive Program
    4. Article on the session for publication in the BCLA Reporter

  9. If workshop is cancelled or is not held within the period specified by the grant, the award is forfeited although the applicant may re-apply at a later date.
  10. All awarded monies must be used for support of session.
  11. The 250 and the Sunshine Coast Incentive Grant Program may be used in conjunction with other grants.
  12. Profit from session remains with the local sponsoring group.
  13. Monies will be sent after all recipient responsibilities have been fulfilled.
